My thoughts:

This lecture was a refreshing look at the most recent work in Graphic Design. It also gave an insight into other areas such as programming and product design. It was all about embracing the world around you and to experiment with new mediums. Dawes encouraged you to constantly learn and move with the times which is especially helpful to modern day creative roles as we are mostly shown the more traditional design methods. But the most important part of the lecture was how Dawes explained that we should run where our mind and ideas take us, and to explore all the little things we think of as we never know who might see them and like them.
