06/10/14 Note Taking
I am an avid note taker, I write down everything that crosses my mind, and I organise it pretty well too. I date stamp each page and when I change subject or want to write a side note I switch to another colour on my pen (it is one of those with four switchable colours... I love it!) But despite this love for note making I never or rarely go back and re-read my notes which I really need to do. If not every night or at least at the end of the week.
I love taking my notes with a physical pen and paper, never electronically, it is quicker and a more reliable from my experience. Plus I find it relaxing when I sit down and take notes from a book at the end of the day. This helps with my headaches too as it gets me away from the computer screen which is difficult to do as a designer. Plus physical not taking lets me indulge in my love for stationary.
