Alongside my 'wall of things' I also have started a postcard/ flyer collection which has leaked onto my other wall, these are the more designer/ creative aimed flyers. I have collected these from Manchester exhibitions, a creative space in Leeds and the very cool Afflecks also in Manchester. I like these for their unique use of typography and typefaces, they don't use the conventional Helvetica or even worse Arial. Their layouts are also very imposing and eye catching but they are simplistic, so it stands them out from 'SALE NOW ON's and 'WE ARE £1 CHEAPER THAN THEM's.
