Coke Vanilla
Whenever I buy Coke Vanilla I notice the Vanilla Icon they use on their labels to seperate the product from the normal Coke bottles. However as simple and clever the icon is, I find one feature really distracting. The brown circle which encases the swirling pattern seems to stick out like a sore thumb, I know it is meant to draw your eye in and make you notice the subtle swirling shapes within the icon which would otherwise go unoticed, but does it really need to stick out that much? A lighter brown or a low opacity would work well to dull the colour and make it less abrupt. But saying that I do see why they have made it stick out so much, it creates layers in the shape and so makes it a realistic representation of vanilla rather than looking like a flat shape, and it also draws your eye to it rather than letting it sink into the background.
